What is RAN?
The Recent Alumni Network (RAN), representing graduates of the last decade (classes of 2013 – 2023), leads the charge in developing, planning, promoting and delivering quality programs designed to engage recent graduates in the 鶹ýUniversity community. The Committee focuses on programs reaching the current graduating class as they transition to alumni, addressing the special interests and needs of the first years following commencement and providing opportunities for networking, community service, cultural and professional development activities.

Fall Social at the Shannon Rose
On October 26, recent graduates gathered at Shannon Rose for an evening of connection. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for alumni from the last decade to catch up with old friends, make new connections and learn more about the evolving Recent Alumni Network. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as attendees enjoyed complimentary appetizers and their first drink on the house.
Rock Your LinkedIn Profile
On March 2, 2023, alumni learned how to create aprofilethat bringsyourpersonal professional story to life, whetheryou’rejust starting out, seeking to advance, or makingacareer change. This “RockYourProfile” session offered tips on tailoring each section, starting with thekey insight thataprofileis unique and shouldn’t be approached exactly likea resume. We covered ways to add media to aprofile, methods for showcasingyouraccomplishments, volunteer work and aspirations and specific examples ofprofilephrases and language that can help inspireyourpersonal story.
